I am very much a latecomer as I'm just now vewing the time-shift tapes I made last year about this date. I have one simple question which may well have already been answered and discussed.....if so, I apologize. If those survivors who populate the Battlestar fleet have never before been to Earth then why is there a set of USAF Staff Sergeant stripes in a frame on the wall of the crew lounge???
